AdvaICT will be Participating at ISS World Europe Conference, 2–4 June 2010

ISS World Europe is the world´s largest gathering of European law enforcement, intelligence, defense, homeland security analysts and telecom operators responsible for lawful interception, electronic investigations and network intelligence gathering. 4th June will be in Track 2: ISS for Criminal Investigations introduced AdvaICTs MyNetScope – Next Generation Behavioral Analysis and Security Solution. New Version of MyNetScope® ADS and FlowMon ADS Released

MyNetscope^®ADS and FlowMon ADS now support effective security evidence. New version 1.04.01 offers export of data flows, which lead to recognition of event. This function enables much more effective revelation and evidence of security incidents.

New Version of MyNetScope® ADS and FlowMon ADS Released

New version 1.03.00 has been released. Some of the new features include interactive visualization of events and standard CEF (Common Event Format) implementation. Our customers had already updated to this new version; you may try it on-line.

AdvaICT will be Participating at Cyter Conference, 23.-24.06.2010

CYTER 2010 is the 4th conference about cyber terrorism and criminality held in Prague. Similarly as in previous years the conference will be concerned with wide spectrum of topics – from technologies and net structures to social and psychological effects of internet abuse. Political and global views on cyber terrorism and crime are an integral part of the conference.
The conference will take place at 23.-24.06.2010 in Hotel Praha in Prague.

Masaryk University Utilizes Services provided by AdvaICT

1.4.2010 – Masaryk University has signed contract with AdvaICT providing them data network traffic analysis services. These services will focus on attacks detection against IT infrastructure components and creation of behavioral profiles.

ADS solution used by Datapac s.r.o.

Datapac s.r.o., major Slovak IT supplier in communications and connectivity services, is using ADS solution for monitoring and automatic evaluation of traffic in their own data network.

Botnet Detection

AdvaICT automatically detects botnets exploiting vulnerability of common SOHO routers, web cameras and ADSL modems. Such botnets include for example Chuck Norris recently revealed by MU team.

MyNetScope® ADS successfully proven as very useful in non profit area.

Between 12.1.2010 and 19.1.2010 network traffic analysis took part on the network of non-profit organization called “Liga vozickaru”. Analysis also included servers inside the organization and computer class room of the organization. Continuous processing and evaluation of network traffic has been handled by MyNetScope^®ADS in version x5 Standard. Performed analysis included: detection of security and configurational problems, view into services used and provided, behavioral profiles of selected network devices and traffic statistics.

Masaryk University is performing successful MyNetScope® ADS testing.

Starting around half of year 2009 intensive testing of MyNetScope^®ADS solution to increase network security of MU's data network has began. Masaryk University has provided AdvaICT with official statement regarding this testing period.
