FlowMon ADS pilot traffic evaluation – Sumperk municipality

We have decided to use the solution because of control of the security settings after replacing the main Mikrotik router for Cisco ASA. The deployment of FlowMon ADS by the company AdvaICT a.s. seemed to be optimal for that. The course of the pilot was without any problems and the approach of the supplier´s company was exemplary. The system outcomes have exceeded our expectations and have shown our weaknesses of our network security especially the misusing of the network capacity by some of the employees for their private activities that are against the operating rules of the Sumperk municipality´s computer network. The cooperation with the supplier company was excellent and professional.  Based on the outputs of the FlowMon ADS system we plan to perform a series of restrictive measures taken against employees who do not comply with the operating rules of the computer network.  The outcomes have convinced us to include the traffic monitoring and employee behavior tool in the permanent operation in the Sumperk municipality´s computer network.
