Network Traffic Audit in the duration of three weeks was conducted in company Renocar during November 2011. The goal of the audit was to describe the structure and behavior of the network traffic and to reveal the sources of several network operational issues. Renocar uses data network to support many key business processes, therefore the well working network is crucial for the company.

Using the audit results most of the network related issues were successfully removed. The customers also received the audit report describing how the network is used by its users and the facts and recommendations for efficient growth of the network.

We have learned about the FlowMon ADS system during disposable network analysis that we have realized in our company. Deployment of the system to our network was without any interference to existing infrastructure except for the need to turn on the mirroring operation on the selected active element. The operation of the network was not affected.
The FlowMon ADS system offers a wide range of possibilities in the area of data flow analysis. The system for example allows monitoring of the non-standard user activities as well as the detection of malicious traffic which helps to improve the speed and network security.  The outputs from the device are clear and can be easily exported for further processing.
Analysis of our data network, among other things, highlighted the not completely optimal configuration of one of the devices used and has provided a comprehensive overview of the activities of individual devices on the network. Overall, we consider the service to be very beneficial and in case of any specified network problems we are ready to use it again.
