Institute of Biophysics of the ASCR uses FlowMon ADS

During May 2011 FlowMon ADS was deployed to monitoring and protect local data network of Institute of Biophysisc of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. It is another reference where AdvaICT product helps to prevent operation and security issues of IT infrastructure. The solution was deployed together with FlowMon Probe by our partner INVEA-TECH.

First we met the products and services of AdvaICT at the “IT Security World” conference held under the “Invex Forum 2010” fair. Especially we considered the Network Traffic Audit (NTA) very interesting. The service impressed us as a possibility to look into our communication infrastructure using kind of a different system of "the other eyes". Thus conceived analysis can help to identify problems, risks and threats that network administrators in the current operation may not identify. We were fully satisfied with the delivery of services as well as with the NTA result. The whole process was uncomplicated, quick and we were certainly impressed by the minimum costs. The report indeed confirmed that the network security is in a very good condition and its segments are well managed, but I can definitely recommend the NTA service as an independent audit of network security or the FlowMon ADS device as a sustainable solution for managing and protecting the company IT infrastructure.
